Zorgel, Shelly Rae (nee Blair)
Peacefully, with her family by her side, on November 16th, 2017 at Louise Marshall Hospital (Mount Forest) in her 63rd year. Beloved wife of 33 years to Marty. Loving mother to Aaron. Dear sister of Rod & Karen Blair, and sister in-law to Terry & Mariann Zorgel, and Randy & Cindy Zorgel. Aunt to Jeremy (Imshun), Daniel (Beth), Valerie, Sara, Amanda, Steve, and Brian. Proud great-aunt to Quinn Blair. Daughter of Raymond & Shirley Blair, and daughter in-law of Andrew & Betty Zorgel.
Born and raised in Welland, Ontario, and a longtime resident of Holstein, Ontario, Shelly leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, laughter, lifelong friendships, and a gift for making everyone around her feel comfortable. From her first moments to her last, Shelly always put others first.
She will be greatly missed by friends and family far and wide, from British Columbia, to Barbados, to the United Kingdom, and beyond. When remembering Shelly, look at the sky. She’ll be there, dancing on the light from star to star.
