Condolence: Thank you for letting me be apart of your life. If it wasn't for you and the community my family would have never been in Canada. You will be missed. Love forever and always....

Condolence: All our sympathy to the family. One of my favourite memories is visiting as a teenager and being encouraged to check out the huge dictionary in the hall. Also I appreciated the
warm welcome and kindness which were always present.

Condolence From: Andy Dunlop
Condolence: I am very saddened to hear of your loss. How lucky we were to have had our childhood together on Queen Street. I often think of those days and of your mom loading us all in her great big station wagon and us going on some great adventure to wherever the road took us. You are in my thoughts and my heart.

Condolence: It was a great pleasure for Blossom and I to visit Eileen on Fridays at Central Place. She had a beautiful smile and I always looked forward to our little visits. Blossom always enjoyed the "massage" that she got from Eileen as part of her visit. We will miss seeing Eileen. My prayers and thoughts are with the family at this time.

Condolence From: Fraser McKee & family
Condolence: I was much saddened to see of the passing of our former neighbor on Mark street, Eileen Gray. She was an ideal neighbor and friend, although we worried her early on by our youngest son flying a pirate flag from our roof-top! Over the y ears we couldn't have had a finer neighbor, and a more pleasant friend. Requescat in pace.

Condolence: It was with sadness I learned of Eileen's passing. We were neighbors for a long time in Markdale, and I always enjoyed our chats. Her contributions to the community were great, and I know that everyone who knew her will remember her with love and kindness.

Condolence: Eileen and my mother, Freda Hunt, so much enjoyed their special friendship over the many years they lived in Markdale. They both had a wonderful sense of humour and a deep caring and sensitivity for others. I was fortunate to get to know Eileen and Goldie when they hired me as a receptionist in Goldie's office during my university summers. In later years, my husband Dave and I loved our times visiting with Eileen - she was always contemporary in her thinking, so much fun and so thoughtful. We will miss her and we send our most heartfelt sympathy to all her family.
