It is with great sadness we announce Beverley’s passing at Chapman House Hospice on Sunday, July 10, 2022 of Priceville in her 85th year. Loving mother of Joan (Dave) and Stephen (Connie). Cherished grandmother of Veronica, Justin, Katie, Levi Viljakainen and Jason. Dear sister of Rick Aitken. Predeceased by brothers Dave Aitken and Ted Aitken.
Beverly was her own woman, she was fascinated by the natural world and spiritual systems and development. Professionally she worked in administration at the Ontario Institute for Studies and Education and did French to English translation services. She was delighted to retire and take up the full time study, practice and teaching of Yoga and Vedanta and being a 'Gma'.
The family will be holding a private service at a later date. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to women's shelters local to you would be gratefully appreciated. Online donations and condolences at www.fawcettfuneralhome.ca
