It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Erin Lees of Barrie. Loving mother to Amber Lees of Markdale and Bon Lees of Cobourg. Adoring Grandmother to Georgie, Faith, and Axl. Much loved daughter of Kathleen and the late Bryan Lees of Barrie. Sister of Chris Lees, Sean Lees, and Debbie Crawley .
Erin was a proud indigenous artist, athlete and chef, her artwork was recently displayed at the McLaren Art Centre in Barrie. Erin was a devoted friend and always had something to say and would always be there when you needed her; standing up for the “little guys“ as she would advocate for them and herself. Life is too short, so "suck it up buttercup" and "Put a rubber band around it, and snap out of it.!!" she would say, Erin liked to read and catch up with old friends and people through social media like facebook. She will be sadly missed but not forgotten.
A memorial service will take place on Monday, March 28, 2022 at 1pm at Fawcett Funeral Cremation Reception (1 Highland Drive, Flesherton).
