Sadly after a battle with cancer, on Sunday, May 30, 2021 of Markdale in her 76th year. Beloved wife of the late Dale(2016). Loving mother of Michelle and her partner Helena Briand of Ajax.. Greatly missed by sister Sheila Flear of Markdale and her children Donald Flear and Barbara Stevens, as well as brother in law Bill Campbell of Nepean and his children Janet Campbell Stewart and Scott Campbell. Jessie was so loved by her amazing friends who have helped through her cancer journey, specifically Linda Thompson, Larry Croft, Wayne Walker, Agnes Teeter and Bob and Norma Hunt. Predeceased by great friend Donna Croft.
Jessie was known as a kind soul who always had time to sit down for a chat or cup of tea with a friend. She was so very proud of Michelle and Helena and loved to tell everyone about their accomplishments. Jessie loved spending time with her friends at the Markdale Seniors Club as well as the members of the Glendale Yacht Club at William’s Lake.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private service will be held. Jessie’s funeral service will be broadcast to FM radio with signal available in the Fawcett Funeral Home parking lot. We invite you to participate from your vehicle. Alternatively, we welcome you to join us by livestream, all occurring on Thursday, June 3 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, Jessie has requested donation to Sick Kid’s Hospital or Centre Grey Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
