After a short but courageous battle with cancer, Dan passed at Grey Bruce Health Services, Markdale on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 with his sister by his side. Dan is greatly missed by brother Dave Jackson Wasaga Beach, and sister Sherry and her husband Larry Earls of Simcoe. Predeceased by parents George and Gertie Jackson and brothers Bob and Carl.
Dan was a man who was passionate about and enjoyed his work as a Mechanical Engineer at Carrier Canada for over 30 years. When he wasn't working, he was enjoying the solitude at the family farm where he was raised, and later lived most of his adult life. Dan had many talents and loved woodworking especially and made many beautiful works of art. Over the past few years, he had been missing his 2 cats, Max and Rufus greatly.
