At home on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 of Durham, formerly of Markdale, in his 91st year. Loving husband to the late Aileen who Ian has missed greatly since her passing in 2017. Ian is loved and remembered by nephew Bryan Boyce and his wife Nancy of South Bruce Peninsula, niece Carolyn and her husband Stewart Petersen of Pickering, nephew Dennis Harrison and his wife Cathy of Stratford and nephew David Boyce and his wife Tana and Nanaimo, British Columbia. Great uncle to 14 and great great uncle to 19. Brother of the late Enda(Roy) Harrison and Ross(Helen) Boyce. Ian is greatly missed by many friends and the entire congregation of Church of Christ, Markdale.
Born and raised in Glenelg Township to Elizabeth and Revel Boyce, Ian was always fond of the farming lifestyle and ran a successful beef farm on Grey Road 12, Markdale until 2007. He had many passions including renovating the “new” house in Durham after moving off the farm, and sharing the word of God in his gentle and kind way. His love for Aline was always at the forefront of his conversations.
A private funeral has taken place. Ian has requested that memorial donations be made to Great Lakes Christian College in Beamsville.
