After struggling with surgery and illness, our bright rainbow Nicky passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of family and the music of Elvis on Tuesday, March 24, 2020. She was 70 years young. Nicky brought great joy to many people's lives and we will all miss her candour, feisty spirit, enthusiastic singing, infectious smile and memorable sayings. She will be fondly remembered by all. Best Friend Forever of June Dawson. Predeceased by her mother Margaret (Peggy) Armour, her father Peter and her brother Michael (Ilona). Foster daughter of Richard and Carol Gott. Sister to Nadine (Tom), Diana, Margot (Edward), Mark, Virginia (Gord) and her foster siblings Susan, June, William (Claire), Sean (Stephanie) and Benjamin. Auntie Nicky to Stephen, Jeremy (Lorilynn), Anton, Anna, Oliver, Quentin, Jemima, Celine, Alix, Esmee and Cameron. Great Aunt Nicky to many great nieces and nephews.
Special thank you to Palliative Nurse Glenna, VON Laura & Patricia, Dr. O'Halloran, Brown's Pharmacy and Fawcett Funeral Home for their excellent support and service in our time of need.
Friends and family will gather at a future date to celebrate Nicky's life due to the present COVID19 virus. Cremation has taken place and she will eventually be laid to rest with her parents in Kirkfield, Ontario.
