Obituary for Michael Murray Hunter
After a lengthy illness at Grey Bruce Health Services, Markdale site on December 5, 2019. Of Eugenia, formerly of Toronto in his 73rd year. Mike leaves behind his sister Anne and her husband Bob Best of Flesherton, nephews Grant Best of Ivanhoe Lake, Darren, Scott and his wife Kayla all of Flesherton. Great uncle of Brenda, Carolyn, Ashlee, Morgan, Zach and Zoe. Great great Uncle to Chase, Cody, Austin, Aiden, Gabriella and Kaylee. He will be fondly remembered by friend Ed Clarke. Greatly missed by his dog and buddy Rebel.
Mike spent many years living and working in Toronto and was always involved with coaching minor sports, especially swimming, basketball and baseball. He loved his dogs as though they were his children.
A celebration of Mike's life will take place at Fawcett Funeral Cremation Reception (1 Highland Drive, Flesherton) on Tuesday, December 10 from 1 - 3pm with memories shared at 2pm. Donations to the Centre Grey Health Services Foundation or the Georgian Triangle Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.
