With loved ones by his side, on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 in Toronto. Much loved son of Marion Meads Davis and Bill Davis and the late John William Meads(1983). Loving father to Brenda (Ryan) McBratney, Cheryl(Tom)Deshane and Amanda Meads (Chris Wilde). Adoring grandfather of Nicholas, Anthony, Vincent, Angelina, Chelsea, Brooklyn, Luke and Lauren. Remembered by brothers Dave(the late Joan), Gary(Verna), Glenn(Mary) and Dan(Alecza). Fondly remembered by Aunt Audrey, Aunt Catherine, Aunt Sylvia, Uncle Vic and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Condolences from Sandra Meads Campbell, mother to his 3 daughters. Predeceased by grandparents Albert and Eva Crew and John and Agnes Meads.
Chico’s love for music was learned through watching his father perform with his guitar. He loved all sorts of music including rock, oldies and country, and he loved playing the drums. Although music was a large part of his life, many will remember him for being a hardworking man who often would exceed expectations at work and even received a proficiency award in high school. Others will remember him for being a true family man; never missing a gathering, birthday or celebration with his family. One thing is for certain, everyone will remember Chico for his laid back personality and willingness to help whenever someone needed him.
The family will receive friends at Fawcett Funeral Cremation Reception on Friday, August 2, 2019 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Service from the chapel on Saturday at 11am. Interment Markdale Cemetery.
