Wayne passed away doing what he loved, farming the field at his farm on Grey Road 4, Flesherton on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 in his 56th year. Beloved husband of Deborah Ireland Sherman. Loving father of Ryan(Nicole) Sherman of Kirkland and step-father of Brent Behm of Stayner, Johnpaul(Gemma) MacNeil of Singhampton and Jessica MacNeil of Melancthon. Step-grandfather of Megan, Sophie, Ameillia and Maddy MacNeil. Son of Doug and June Sherman of Bradford. Dear brother of Karen Sherman of Keswick and uncle of Greg. He will be greatly missed by his dogs Massey, Mr Bojangles and his cat Stanley.
Wayne had a passion for race car driving and tractor pulling. He was a truck driver until his health no longer allowed it, so he moved onto dispatching the drivers. His younger years were filled with farming with his father, and so he was brought back to that with the farm he and Deborah shared their life together on.
Wayne loved the farm and so it is fitting to celebrate his life there. The family welcomes you to 405 492 Grey Road 4, Flesherton on Saturday, July 27 from 2:00-4:00pm. If you have a photo that you cherish of Wayne, please bring a copy of it with you as well as a lawn chair. Cremation has taken place.
