It is with great sadness the family of Malcolm Rombach announces his passing after a long and courageous battle, on Monday, May 20, 2019 at Chapman House Hospice, Owen Sound of Paisley in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Ann Bucher. Predeceased by his wife Patricia(nee Grant), his son Brian(2018), parents John and Ivy and Stepfather Clifford Lovel as well as his sisters Margaret Heutinck and Christine Foster. Survived by his brother Peter(Deb) Rombach of Cambridge and brother in-law Harold Foster of St. Catherine’s. Cherished stepfather of Lisa Bucher, Bethany(Martin Bocher), Jenny(Taylor Bulstrode) all of Guelph and grandfather of Launa Bucher-Austin. Son in-law of Lloyd and the late Shirley Skinner and brother in-law of Ted(Joanne) Skinner, Lee Skinner, Lynn(late Walter) Michalejko, Marg(Keith) Ball, Cindy Skinner(late Don). Malcolm will be loved and remembered by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Malcolm was a house-proud man whose passion for the outdoors was reflected through his woodworking, carvings and birdhouses. He was happiest in his workshop. He took pride in being a teacher at St. John-Kilmarnock School. The family would like to thank the Chapman House for all the amazing support and care given over the past couple months.
Please join us in celebrating his life at St. John-Kilmarnock School in the dinning hall located in Breslau(2201 Shantz Station Road) on Saturday, June 22 from 1:00-4:00pm, memories shared at 2:00pm.
