Passed peacefully at Grey Bruce Health Services, Markdale on February 27, 2019 of Flesherton in her 83rd year. She is reunited with her beloved husband Bill Wm. who passed February 6, 2015. Loving mother of Michael(Suzanne) of Brampton and Paul(Amanda) of Williamsford. She will be loved and remembered by her grandchildren Kevin, Samantha and Brodie Aberdein, Tyson and Tanner Timbers. Dear sister in-law of Shirley Peebles, David(Heather) Aberdein.
Janet was born in Flesherton on July 6, 1936 to Almeda and Kenneth Betts. She attended school in Flesherton and graduated from the Flesherton District High School. Janet met Bill, the love of her life, and married him September 27, 1958. They later welcomed their two sons they raised in Toronto. She worked several years at various location as a lab technician before she moved on to her photography career at Jostens doing school pictures. Bill and Janet retired and moved to their property in Flesherton where they enjoyed the company of family and friends.
The family will receive friends at Fawcett Funeral Cremation Reception, Flesherton on Sunday, March 3 from 7-9pm. Funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Monday at 1:00pm. Cremation to follow with interment at Flesherton Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Centre Grey Health Services Foundation would be gratefully appreciated.
