It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Calvin on Sunday, June 24, 2018 of Priceville in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of 71 years to Betty Jane (nee Corbett). Loving father of Linda(Ralph) Darroch of Durham, Sharon(Dave) Harrison of Priceville, Bonnie(Norb Christmann) of Jackson, Judy(Mike) MacNeill and Jim(Denise) all of Priceville. Loved and remembered as Grandpa by Sheri Mazzella, Kim(Darryl) Hopkins, Kelly(Jeff) Marshall, Staci(Matt) Bojin, Dan(Renée) Harrison, Tracey Harrison, Leanne(Mike) Hodgson, Michelle(Jeffrey) Mitchell, Jason(Laurie) Whyte, Shannon(Dan) Harris, John(Jessica) MacNeill, Ryan(Michelina) MacNeill, Justin(Michelle) Hutchinson, Courtney(Adam) Hale, Brittany(Herb) Lemon, Curtis(Katlin) Hutchinson and Emily(Braden) McGregor and 46 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Bill(Jean) of Priceville, Ruth Butler of London, predeceased by brother Ward and his wife Eleanor and brother in-law Bob Butler.

Calvin was born on July 14, 1926 in Euphrasia Township to Haddon and Lottie Hutchinson. He attended many schools around grey county and graduated in Ayton before the family finally found their home in rural Priceville. He met the love of his life Betty Corbett and married her in Dundalk on May 24, 1947. At a young age he knew farming was his career the Ontario Hogg Producers in Dundalk and then John MacKinnon running the bulldozer. He thoroughly enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing music, and of course helping the kids on the farm. So proud of his community he was a town councilor. He much loved all of his grandkids and great grandkids and knew all of their personalities and enjoyments.

The family will receive friends at the Fawcett Funeral Cremation Reception, Flesherton on Thursday, June 28 from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral service from the Flesherton Kinplex(2 Highland Drive) on Friday at 11am. Interment McNeil Cemetery, Priceville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Diabetes Association or the St. Andrews Presbyterian Church Priceville would be gratefully appreciated.
