June passed away peacefully at Grey Gables Nursing Home, Markdale on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 in her 86th year. Beloved wife of the late Oswald Allan. Loving mother of Carol(Bill) Beckton and the late David. Loved and remembered by daughter-in-law Janice and granddaughters Amanda and Heather. Dear sister of Eleanor Rondeau of Shelburne. Predeceased by son David and sister Doreen(Wilf) Halliday of England.



June was born in Billingham, England to Margaret & Harry Middleton on June 3, 1932. She met the love of her life, Allan and they married in Billingham on July 18, 1953. They moved with their two children to Canada in 1965 for a new life with many dreams. June had a passion for life and loved her family and friends deeply. Over the years there were many camping trips, hockey and baseball games to attend as Carol and David grew. June worked as a “comptometer operator” in early years in England and became the manager of the Calculating Pool at Canron Structural Steel for many years in Canada before leaving work to care for Allan due to ill health. Living in Kimberley and Markdale in the later years were happy times with family visits which she so enjoyed.
