It is with great sadness to announce the sudden death of Doug on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 of Holland Centre, formerly of Toronto, in his 71st year. Beloved husband of 42 years to Nellie(nee VanDuivenbode). Loving father of Joel(Linda) of Toronto and grandfather of Isabella and Victoria. Fondly remembered by Bradley(Brenda) Jefferies of Uxbridge and their children Wilson and Madeline. Dear brother of David, Daniel(Debbie) and the late Dennis.
Doug was born in Weston, Toronto on April 25, 1947 to the late June and Wilfred Morgan. He spent his childhood working farms in Brampton and enjoying the outdoors, he adored the rural life style. After working over 35 years in Oakville, Brampton and for the city of Toronto as a building inspector. He built many great relations in various trades over this time. His great passions were family, hunting and fishing. Doug and Nellie bought their dream property in Holland Centre in 2004, which brought him back to the country life he much adored.
The family will receive friends at Fawcett Funeral Cremation Reception on Tuesday, August 8 from 10am until the time of service at 11am. Cremation to follow.
