Condolence From: Machete Family
Condolence: Where do we begin. A friendship that started over 30 years ago. Greg always welcomed our family into your home. He was a great person who will be missed so much. While we did not see each other as much after we both moved from Newmarket - we were still there for each other. The kids kept in contact and each time we did get together it was like there had been no absence. Peter was so happy to go fishing one last time in May and we are honoured to have spent some of the last hours with you last Friday. You will always be in our hearts, Greg, and Wendy, Steph, Eric and Karla - you are like family and always will be. The are no real words to give comfort at this time.

Condolence From: Doris and Alan Jones
Condolence: Greg was amazing to all of us in different ways. We all have our stories and memories to remember him by that no one can take away. Good and bad! We cherish them - it's what helps us through these very difficult times when we lose someone dear to us. Our deepest condolences to Wendy and family, my siblings, their family and to his friends. Such a very sad loss and gone far too soon. Thank you for being such a good big brother, I will miss you. We will miss you!

Condolence From: Elaine Lambert
Condolence: I wanted to express my heartfelt condolences to all of the Renaud family. For right now there's no detour around grief, no shortcut through mourning. However 2 Cor.4:7 says that God can give us, "... power beyond what is normal ", to go from one day to the next. This does not mean that we no longer cry or that we forget, but it means we recover. We recover because of our hope. Jesus Christ talked about our hope in John 5:28, "... all those in the memorial tomb will hear his voice and come out ". Jesus was referring to the resurrection, this is our amazing hope! The Bible likens our hope to an anchor. Just like an anchor stabilizes a ship, our hope stabilizes us, keeps us from drowning in overwhelming sadness. 2 Cor.1:3 describes our Creator as, "... the God of all comfort ". One way that God comforts us is by moving people who care about us to give us words of encouragement that we need to hear. May the God of comfort be your comfort now during this time of sorrow.
